We were really sad that Daddy had to work on the 4th of July this year, but we Thank him for working so hard (without complaining) for our family. Daddy you are our Hero!
The 4th this year was pretty relaxing. We layed around in the morning and then made some cakes/cupcakes for the evening celebration. We have a new pastor at the church we are going to, so we made him (and his wife) a little version of our larger cake....the American Flag. (they moved into the house behind us..Great Neighbors to have!)
The kids thought it was so cute...and neat that I would think this up!! We won't tell them that most people do this....shhhh....

We were invited over to our friends house to watch the fireworks and enjoy some family and friends....Thanks Darren and Kristi...your family is so sweet and adorable...we loved being apart of it. You made our July 4th!Kristi grew up here, so she has a lot of family!! Wow!! Trying to learn everyone's name and who they are was not an easy task. Kristi whipped up 3 cherns of ice cream...Yummmm! You are good, Kristi!

It was such a great evening and day! Again, thanks to the Cook family!The kids were so dirty when we got home, that even though it was 11:30...I had to still give the kids a shower....Then they were ready for bed!!
